We're looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our backend team, someone passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI technologies and dedicated to building robust, scalable, and innovative backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of backend services for Kombo's AI sales coach, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain APIs for internal use and external integrations, facilitating seamless connectivity between our platform, LLMs, and various third-party services.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure smooth integration of the React-based UI with backend logic.
• Implement secure, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices in software development and data security.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and system tuning.
• Contribute to the development of AI-driven features, working closely with our AI experts to integrate cutting-edge algorithms and models into our product.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting code reviews, writing tests, and documenting work.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in AI, software development, and the sales tech ecosystem, continuously innovating and improving our platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend technologies.
• Expertise in JavaScript, particularly Node.js and familiarity with React.
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs and external integrations.
• Solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, especially as applied to sales and CRM technologies.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and database management.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices (e.g., testing, code reviews, continuous integration) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and a passion for technology.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
