We encourage you to bring your unique perspective to help make us stronger, including applications from those who are traditionally underrepresented in tech.  Responsibilities * Design and develop distributed systems to support satellite operations. * Collaborate with teams to define system requirements and architecture. * Implement software solutions to enable efficient data processing and transmission. * Optimize system performance and reliability. * Troubleshoot and debug complex distributed systems. * Ensure software meets quality and security standards. * Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards. * Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Requirements * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * 8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on distributed systems. * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Rust, Java or C++ * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Experience with cloud-based distributed systems and microservices (e.g., AWS, Azure). * Lambda * S3 * EKS * SQS * Strong understanding of networking protocols and distributed computing concepts. * Knowledge of data storage and processing technologies * SQL * MongoDB * InfluxDB * Kafka,  * Familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). * Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)., gitlab and CI/CD pipeline * Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
