The Tech Lead Backend SW Engineer will be a key contributor to the team, applying extensive knowledge of design principles and practices to the implementation of complex, enterprise-scale digital health applications. Your responsibilities will include architecture, design, and implementation of software solutions to serve patients and healthcare practitioners across a broad portfolio of therapeutic areas. You’ll work hands-on within a scrum team and act as a technical leader and mentor across scrum teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline with 10+ years of experience or master’s degree in a similar field with 6+ years of experience
• Experience designing, building, and operating SaaS-based enterprise software solutions
• Experience with enterprise languages like Java
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL datastores (Experience with Cassandra is a plus)
• Experience with synchronous and asynchronous messaging technologies such as Kinesis, Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ, Caching, Infra as code
• Strong experience in developing highly available and scalable services using event-driven reactive architecture to provide a real time services and ML models (experience with Vertx is a plus)
• Cloud (AWS) experience
